You might have to download Huawei Stick mobile partner software for Mac 10.11 El Capitan before you can get your Huawei e303 dongle to work on your Macbook running Mac OS El Capitan.
When my Glo bolt e303 modem didn’t work on my Macbook pro, I downloaded the software and since then, I’ve been using the Glo modem to connect to the internet.
How To Download Huawei Mobile Partner Software for Mac OS
- If you are a MAC OS user, you should use Huawei data card client software MACV200R003B015D02SP01C983 for Mac OS 10.9. E303 in Windows. For a normal Huawei modem (Not Hi-Link), you can use mobile partner 23.009.09.01.983 with a WiFi facility in the Windows operating system.
- Mobile Partner For Mac Installation. Make Sure you have installed Huawei Mac OS X driver correctly.; Download Mobile Partner from the upper link; Unzip The Package and double click on MOBILE CONNECT.ISO it will start installing the package and you can see the below screen, kindly wait until the process complete.
- Huawei Matebook X Pro (either i7 or i5 model) macOS or OS X downloaded from the Mac App Store; 8GB USB stick; USB C dock (for connecting to external mouse for initial setup) BIOS Settings. F2 is for booting into BIOS; f12 is for boot override; Any version of the BIOS is good, but I'm on version 1.26; Restore Defaults; Disable Secure boot.

Huawei Mobile Partner. Huawei USB modem driver is known as Mobile Partner. Some carrier did rename the software but it is actually the same thing. The driver and software is really power hungry on Mac, it drain a lot of battery. Here’s a guide on how to remove Huawei driver. This article is for the conventional non-Hilink type! But in Mobile Partner’s Choose Device, it is still empty. When I try to connect it says device disconnected or not available. I tried with another data card (Reliance 3g) and the device list is still empty. But with it I can at least connect. Any Idea how I can resolve it. BTW the Huawei data card has been unlocked with DFS 3.3.0.7.
Enter e303 in the search bar at the top right hand corner of the site and hit the ‘enter” key on your keyboard
or just click here to go directly to the Huawei download page for e303 dongle.
When a new page opens, scroll down till you get to the section where you can download the software as highlighted below: “Stick Mobile Partner (for Mac10.11)”
Click on the “Download now” icon to download it.
Once the download completes, you can double-click it on your mac (to unzip it) and install it accordingly.
